WALL OF HONOR UPDATE:
With the press in the paper and the opening of the pool many people have been asking about the Wall of Honor. Installation is in the works and we expect it to be up soon.
If anyone wants to donate and be part of the initial engraving we need to have their pledge in by the end of September. Depending on demand it might be the end of the year before we send the second batch out for engraving.How would you like to leave a legacy in your community that future family and friends will look upon with pride? For a small investment your name will be etched on the Wall of Honor at the new Grosse Pointe South natatorium.
Set high above the pool deck, strategically located at the heart of the spectators’ mezzanine area, the Friends of the Pool Wall of Honor will list those who went the extra distance to make this natatorium a state-of-art facility. Crafted of the finest materials, the Wall of Honor will show all of your contribution to benefit the community you love, a contribution that will live in perpetuity. more

About the Project
The addition of a state of the art swimming facility to our district will not only benefit our swimming teams, but it will also free up other district pools to be used by the community for both lessons and open swimming.
Our Fundraising Goal
The bond money to fund the pool only provided for an 8 lane standard design. The Board offered our community the opportunity to raise the funds to make the pool exceptional. The community is being asked to raise $320,000.
